District Partnerships
Bring Chartwell Teaching Institute to Your Organization
Chartwell leads in training programs with districts year round. If you are interested in partnering with Chartwell Teaching Institute (CTI), please contact us.
Our Summer dates fill up quickly and we want the opportunity to work with your district. Let’s get started!
Our partnership with the Chartwell Teaching Institute is a proven game-changer in foundational literacy practices for the MPUSD educational community. Together we have collaborated in multiple professional development sessions to provide our teachers, interventionalists, and school leaders engaging, rich content, and invaluable tools and strategies rooted in the science of reading.

CONNECT & DISCOVER
Our director, Jodi Amaditz, will connect with your district/school leader to determine the needs of your specific site. Follow-up conversations with additional faculty and/or observations of specific classes to learn more about programming needs is beneficial.
02.
BUILD A PROPOSAL
A proposal based on your specific needs will be created by Jodi and done in collaboration with your district’s specific needs. Once approved, a contract will be created and signed.
03.
SCOPE OF WORK
A CTI faculty member from Chartwell will be assigned to take the lead on your school or district partnership. The partnership will involve a combination of workshops, small group work with teams of teachers, demonstration lessons, observation of classes, and direct feedback.
Who We Serve
We offer training for general education and special education teachers at both the elementary and secondary levels. Separate trainings by cohort are recommended to gear trainings to the population of educators and learners.
Length of Partnership
A one to three year commitment is recommended. The best practice is to incorporate workshops and follow-up coaching for your team.
IDA (International Dyslexia Association) accredits Chartwell School’s program Chartwell Teaching Institute at the Accreditation level for its alignment to the science of reading, structured literacy and with the IDA Knowledge and Practice Standards (KPS) for Teachers of Reading.
(Note: The approved IDA course is 5 days of instruction. The 3 day version of the training is considered Part 1.)
